Long time, no blog.

Let me tell you, it's been so long since I've been here. Almost a year. In fact, my last blog was on my oldest daughter's last birthday and she will be having another birthday in less than a month. I've really missed blogging, but really so much has happened since my last blog that it really to blog about it all, you'd have thought I was insane. Well, you still might think that, but I think it's time to get back on the horse. Some things have changed around here, and some things haven't. 


The hubby has been home most of the year, with the exception of some travelling for schools and training throughout the year. He is actually gone right now. He is missing Thanksgiving, but it's for a good cause, great opportunity, and what not. He is down-under for another week and a half. I will be glad when he is home again. I've gotten used to having him around more often, although I suppose I shouldn't, it's hard not to. 


I became a mommy for the fourth time in September. We added another little girl to the mix. We believe we are finished, our family is complete, 6 is a beautiful number. I am still home schooling our oldest, and I am also doing pre-school with our son this year in preparation for officially starting Kindergarten next year. 


Anyway, I'm headed to Las Vegas tomorrow for Thanksgiving. Will be the first time I've been up there since Christmas. Will be spending a few extra days there and coming back early next week. No plans to do anything for black Friday this year, not really interested. The hubby and I are planning on doing Christmas shopping for the kids after he gets back. He wanted to decorate the house too, we'll see if he still wants to do that when he gets back. I think we are planning on Christmas here, so he probably will. Guess we'll see.
